Ariel is a corporate finance lawyer specialising in equity capital markets transactions, public company advisory matters and corporate governance. Having trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Ariel subsequently spent over 10 years at US law firms Latham & Watkins and Davis Polk. Over the course of her career, she has spent nearly two years on secondments to the in-house legal teams of Goldman Sachs, Citi and Jefferies. Ariel joined BCLP in June 2020 as a partner, making Ariel one of just 12 UK-qualified Black female partners at a Top 20 law firm in London and the only Black female partner in her field. Ariel currently sits on the Women Lawyers Division of the Law Society of England & Wales and serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of The LEAD Curriculum, a not-for-profit organisation which provides leadership training programmes to students from underprivileged backgrounds. Alongside her day job, Ariel is mother to an energetic three-year-old boy and co-owner of a Greek restaurant in East London.
